Looking forward to sitting in the Anti Hulkageddon Channel and seeing how crap they are with Intel. As I recall last time - I sat in the main channel AND the miners channel - they'd never thought to look up the main channel, they'd never checked the website for where activity was focussed... there was no "supporting" chatter, other than "it's not fair"... hilar!

@ Helicity I'm docking up my rock chompers and offering my services to scout - I have 6 characters (4 datacore farmers so can't blow the sec status) but want to scout on the two weekends. I cover Forge/Citadel/Tash Murkon/Gallie space...
Are you having a proper channel this year? Is it gonna be listed on the webby/main post?
Count me in to go ahead of the clans and tell you what's out there.

Hey all Back from another enthralling week in Liverpuddle and have to be a grown up until after work today.
Have moored up all my mining mobiles and ready to switch to a runabout and scout later this evening if still required...
After the week I've had... with the tosspot of a project manager I've inherited - I'm of the mind to imagine every macro out there is him and dobbing him in for a ganking is gonna be gooooooood!

hey guys - sorry I haven't been able to join despite thinking I could. RL emergency cropped up ... last surviving parent taken ill so I had to hightail it 2 hours to old homestead, just in case... some things get put right slap bang into perspective Anyway - all clear and out of danger thank god.
Hoping to join in a little later today - will hop into chat as this char - Have NO Skills so fitting up fastest Frigate I can fly to scout. Based in Jita but willing to fly to join fleets to help scout like I promised I would.
Soz again and hoping to at least see some action.
Cheers all.

Was good to cast off the shackles of my dusty mining knuckles and zip around in a ship looking for juicy hulks. BUT - will have to do it as another character as I almost got blended in my non-skilled non- equipped frigate by belt rats! Pah!
I guess the organisation gets a little more solid later in the day when there are more teams in more araes - there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing towards various areas and I kinda watched a failed gank happen...
May try and chip in later tonight depending on how quickly I get packed for a week away and see if it's a bit more co-ordinated... oh the temptation to find the gits who come up and blindly mine the same rocks I'd been mining... watch out you guys - you know who you are.... (and yes they NEVER respond in local)...

A Miner's Checklist - as a service for all those poor peeps who lost their hulks. 1) CHECK THE FORUMS... seriously... they give dates and everything. 2) Even if you mine afk - CHECK THE FORUMS 3) If you choose to undock during Hulkie-kill-time... well make sure you can afford to lose ship. 4) If you can't afford to lose a hulk or an Orca - can you stand the cost of a Covetor or Retriever and an Indy of some description? If so - kit those out and mine (afk during this time, if you MUST) and undock with those. 5) If you can "afford" to not mine for 10 days ... then freakin' DON'T. 6) If you can't beat 'em, join 'em - I scouted for a couple of evenings for an hour or so and posted in the Intel channel and wanted to see a gank up close but too much Concordy stuff around. 7) Do something ELSE in the game - you're paying for it for chrissakes! 8) Wait patiently until the end of the Hulkie-killy and then undock as before and go about your business, remembering to check THE FORUMS...
Simples!
